It’s the sight off the times isn’t it. The nurse asked me to make a GP appointment because she could make a decision about markers for a blood test she thought we thought I needed. I had to fil a form On line. The Gp replied asking me to make an appointment. I rang and made one. I have had a text saying I had to respond to the GP request to make an appointment or my online information would be o delete I am Hoping I do have the appointment I made whe I arrive to see Dr Ashton on Monday next

It's not reasonable to have to disclose personal and medical information to the receptionist. It's their job to allocate appointments not take medical history.

Suggested improvements
Change your practice back to how it was run pre covid. You have now made accessibility much harder for certain groups of people. Mill road had an excellent reputation before covid, unfortunately this has changed due to the triage system and questions by reception

It took 10 days to get a face to face appointment with a GP. I was first sent to a hub at Hillsborough which in my opinion was a complete waste of time. When I eventually got an appointment there was no one else waiting to see a doctor. This makes me wonder why it is so difficult to get to see a GP.

Suggested improvements
Go back to giving people proper appointments so they can get their problems sorted quickly.

The pharmacist did interact with me on the possible root causes as to my increased cholesterol levels, he did understand my life style changes as In the deteriorating state of my legs limiting my exercise ability isn’t helping the situation, he did suggest what could help, but unfortunately, and not his fault, he can’t make the decision to increase my medication. That’s a morning off work to have an appointment with a health professional that can’t actually make a decision, was a waste of my time. A week has gone by now still nothing.

To help theirs nothing you can do theirs only our leaders can help the system is broken. The medical system in general isn’t set up for people who work out side the public sector. I could rant on for a full page on this but I will spare you the pain, I am sure you’ve heard it all before. I also realize you guys are stretching to burst, thousands of houses being built without out one thought on the infrastructure. Schools, hospitals, Doctors, public services the emergency services all stretched to the max. Such a mess
